ABOUT MICHAEL

In 1996, I began studying concentration meditation and yoga postures on my own. In 2004, I began my formal study of a contemplative form of European spirituality, and massage therapy training. I have 15 years of professional massage experience, and I am currently a certified through the State of California.
I am also a certified meditation teacher, of which I earned my certification through the Center for Spiritual Enlightenment, in San Jose, CA.
I currently offer group meditation, individual and group how to meditate classes, and a meditation teacher training course. Check out my Meditation Training page above.
I absolutely love serving my community in these way! What I enjoy about participating in the massage industry is that it allows me to assist and educate clients in taking care of their own health in a holistic way. I appreciate using various healing techniques from both East and West in order to heal minor injuries, mental stress, or chronic pain. Lastly, I learn and grow from other massage professionals, who enrich each others massage art work.
My ideal client is one who:

-
Respects my personal & professional values
-

-
Appreciates being well cared for and recieving excellent massage work
-

-

-
Plays an active role in maintaining their own health
-
Takes an sincere interest in learning how massage & bodywork can enrich their lives
My style is grounded in Classical or Swedish, and I also massage inspired by Ayurvedic, and Chinese traditions.
More About Me:
I am a Ballroom Dance Instructor and enjoy Sacred Dance. I believe the use of healing disciplines from East & West is equally beneficial, and necessary,to properly maintain our health. I have been working with yogasanas (the postures of the Hatha-yoga tradition) in my own life since 1996 and recommend the use of specific postures to clients as part of self-care. I also enjoy creating music and communing in nature.
